Worked as intended

I loaded these rails with circuit breakers when building my own solar DC panel cabinet. The rails are strong and well suited for heavy switches or terminal blocks. Add end blocks to hold the strips and switches in place.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Damaged

Integra DIN 8 Rail Kit, 2 rails, 4 screws, 8 " nominal length

Fairly good DIN rail, but ASI PR005-1M steel DIN rail (boxed) is better. 10 pack) and trim to size. To me, 30ft rails are a lifetime supply. It also helps if you sand the edges on a belt sander or grinder.

Pros
  • Linear Motion Products
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other kits

Actual length is 6.75 inches.

They appear to be of good quality but I have doubts about the nominal 8 inch length. Perhaps there are applications where the nominal length is really important, e.g. B. Installation where 3/4" fittings fit into a nominal 3/4" pipe even though the pipe has neither a 3/4" ID nor OD. For anyone curious, I received a 6-3/4 inch length of each. So I am deducting a star simply because the description is not fully disclosed, although this may be due to my own ignorance of typical DIN rail usage. .

Pros
  • Item with power train
Cons
  • Without automatic transmission
