incredible data storage drive

Intel makes the best solid state drives. Anyone who wants to improve the performance of their computer, whether it's a work computer or a gaming computer, these are the SSD drives you need. I had a Crucial m4 SSD in my computer before I bought this. Critical doesn't even come close to being an option on this disc.

Pros
  • not cheap but decent
Cons
  • repair

replace smaller ssd

wanted to add a new game or two to my library a game/os ssd. The latter two drives used Intel SSDs. Enjoy the finish and reliability. did not prepare a new disk in any way. using the Intel migration software from their website. 20 minutes later all my software is still running on a 2x SSD.

Pros
  • lots of good vibes
Cons
  • too dumb

Top Electronics

_ Easy to install,_ Disk image cloning software works!_ No problem with Windows or Linux partitioning tools._ Fast and quiet. You will notice the difference! You'll never come back!_ Runs on Win7 and two Linux distributions, a standard office suite, 3 CAD e-packs and studio recording software, with plenty of storage space. The original 1TB hard drive has been reallocated for data storage. Efficient use of resources is possible by moving folders with documents, music and pictures from Windows…

Great Upgrade - Internal SSDs

Purchased 27 Sep 2013 and reviewed 15 Apr 2014 No issues so far. The Intel software works well and the performance gain over my 10,000 RPM hard drive was significant. I use a 1TB drive to install and store non-essential programs, and put my OS, Chrome, and most-used programs on an SSD. Boot time is less than 30 seconds from keypress to idle desktop (Windows 7 x64).

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Makes me mad

Quickly! No problems or questions!

No problems yet. I bought this to replace the standard 60GB SSD that came with my computer. Just make sure the drive is optimized and properly formatted before using it extensively. However, I must say that SSD is intended for OS partitions. Just great. Literally from a cold boot, I can get online in about 15 seconds.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Approximately

As expected good for computer and accessories

This hard drive has made my computer so much faster, love it. I installed Windows and some important programs on this drive and there is still a lot of space left. All my media files (music, videos, pictures, etc.) are on my 1TB hard drive, so there's no problem with that. I highly recommend this drive as it offers the speed of an SSD at an excellent price/performance ratio.

Pros
  • delivery was very quick
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Much faster than an old hard drive

Installation went as advertised. I had no problems other than the occasional system freeze. This has been almost completely eliminated by discontinuing automatic disk optimization and increasing the amount of virtual memory used by Microsoft Windows. In my case, the virtual memory was manually set to a minimum of 5 gigabytes (5,000,000,000 bytes) and a maximum of 10 gigabytes. Enjoy!

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • No paint required

Very fast SSD, no problems

This was my first and only SSD so far. I'm currently using it in a high-end gaming laptop (with 16 gigabytes of memory) and I have to say that even after almost a year (I installed Windows in February 2013), Windows loaded incredibly fast. First thing I did with this disc. Install the latest firmware. I'm still not sure if the Windows 7 "Experience Index" is really worth anything, but the drive score has increased noticeably to 7.9 from 7.9. I prefer to have as much space as possible on my C…

Great SSD terrible terrible useless software

This SSD is great and of course works as advertised. I was wary of their migration software because it's never worked very well in the past, but I figured Intel could probably get it right. Boy was I wrong. I migrated fine with their stuff but shortly after that I had trouble activating Windows and soon after that my computer was shutting down quite often due to errors. I ended up not being able to boot at all, so I reinstalled Windows on my old SSD (of course I deleted it after I found Windows
