Useful and works great!

Love it! Somehow my horse managed to rip off the sprung edges of two of his blankets. This strap helped me a lot in holding his blankets in time before I could fix them. The strap is thick and stays in place when flipped over in the strap area.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Perfectly prevents the blanket from slipping

This garter was exactly what I was looking for! I have a fleece rug that only closes at the front, so my horse's rug always slipped off on one side. This garter prevents that completely and keeps the duvet in place perfectly. You can easily adapt it to your horse and it doesn't bother him at all.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Negative gift

Very good for horses

This is a really great garter that holds my transport blankets very well. It's SUPER stretchy but I use it all the time and it didn't stretch at all. Also it should fit almost any horse because it fits my pony and on my tall horse is a bit looser in the longest setting and as I said is SUPER stretchy so I think it needs to stretch to take a big boost.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Frequency

Works much better than criss-cross straps and keeps blankets off.

I bought two of these for the winter to protect my blankets and sheets as my horse would take them off and lose them in the pasture. This works very well and I will sew them onto the blankets so they don't get lost. Works much better than crossed straps and prevents blankets from easily snagging and tearing.

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Quick Instructions

Fits emergency blanket

I haven't spent a hundred bucks or so on a blanket for my horse. Instead, I keep a pair of double-sized warm comforters on hand for when my boyfriend needs a little extra warmth (like that awful downpour on May 30th). The double blanket fits my 16 hand gelding very well from neck to tail. I use two "skirt" safety pins on his chest and this nice wide garter around his body to keep the blanket in place. At night I put him to bed and in the morning everything was like I put him to bed the night…

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs
