Enhanced Glass Running Pliers by ION TOOL Review

I bought these to cut glass blinds when doing a blinds renovation. The new window hardware was about a half inch wider than the existing ones, so instead of buying a bunch of new glass, I decided to try and cut what I had and make it work. In my experience they have cut glass about 1/4 inch with about an 80% success rate (although I'm a carpenter, not a glazier, so maybe the unnecessary cuts were due to my inexperience lol). But I can definitely recommend these pliers.

These are poorly made pliers. I gave it 5 stars because half the other tongs on Revain are fake! The pliers have a curved jaw. If your pliers have a flat jaw and you draw a red curve on the Revain images to hide that fact, you are a scammer. Malocclusion that needs polishing. But this poorly made item gets 5 stars because it is genuine and the ones with red handles have been fakes so far. They came with an extra pair of rubber pads, a nice bonus.

While they are fine for my initial use of cracking thin acrylic, I have found them useful for any application involving gripping what I don't want to be spoiled. Ideal for removing the hot end from the heater blocks on the hot ends of a 3D printer without damaging the threads.
