basket is fine. They hold well what I need. However, they arrived with one of the cracked lids. I have contacted the company and they refuse to replace just the cap. It's impractical to send back that huge package and hope the next set doesn't break. It should become easier for companies to deal with a mistake on their part.

The plastic seems a bit thinner than I expected but appears to be higher quality ABS. The clasps seem a little cheaper, be very careful with the clasps when the lid is off when all the closed clasps are flush with the box so there is no risk of them snagging on objects and breaking when moving or stacking. The heaviest boxed box weighs about 40 pounds. No bending/warping issues, a bit pricey for what you get but made in the USA which adds to the cost.

Came with a cap with a broken edge. The gap was strong enough not to seal. They are also very thin for the price. The $13 sterilites are almost the same size, MUCH stronger, but they don't seal without tape. If we could replace the lid, we would live with quality. But we have to return the whole packaging of the bags to get a new cover from Revane. Therefore we will send them back for a refund.

Overall these crates are one of the strongest plastic containers I've ever bought. However, this last batch of 6 arrived with broken clips on one of the lids, preventing the lid from being clamped. Not sure if it's worth returning 6 boxes when only one is broken, but here we are. It's probably a good deal if they arrive intact, otherwise don't rely on the lid. The first batch had to be returned because it was smashed. I have given them another chance by asking for a replacement but the new batch has a cracked lid on one of the boxes. I will be using epoxy to repair this crack because I don't want to wait for more questionable replacement parts, but the fact that the shipping box says FRAGILE should show that this is a common problem with them. I have previously bought two of these containers from a large store. I bought six containers. The latch failure rate per container was 1 latch device in 2 of the six containers that broke at the pivot. They were very similar apart from the latches. I found the red clips acceptable without considering the strength of the plastic.
