We had a badly rusted toilet. Rubbing even with a pumice stone is ineffective. After using Iron Out tablets the toilet is clean. It took a couple of weeks to fully recover but everything is looking good now.

if you have hard water use iron powder and spray save money with these tablets they just don't cut. I use an iron regularly and it works really well, but the tablets aren't even comparable in performance. I was hoping to reduce iron use and maybe save some money and not have to clean the toilet as often, but they just don't do that.

Bought to clean the inside of my toilet bowl. The toilet dates from 1956 and has probably never been cleaned. The tank was painted a very dark rust color up to the waterline. I LOVE this product. I always keep these in the toilet. I live in an unincorporated area with very hard water.
