ISaddle CH 159 Adjustable Suction Holder Review

I bought this ball among the few on Revain because it was the cheapest. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. A small bullet rendered this mount virtually useless. Fortunately, the fiction is just enough to keep my GPS from falling out. However, I have to position it so that it rests on the dashboard so that the screen faces me. Should have checked the fit as soon as I got it. It's too late to return now. Take branded Garmin.

I use this for something other than GPS. I use it to hold up a window that has a broken motor! I used this to attach the rearview mirror to the windscreen of a '93 Eurovan. After unsuccessfully re-gluing it, I figured a suction cup mount would be a good solution. As it turns out, the original mirror has an 18mm ball mount, while the Garmin mount has a 17mm ball mount. So I ordered it knowing I would have to customize it somehow. UPDATE: Suction cup functionality continues to deteriorate to the point where it will fall off from even a small bump or even normal driving. Received today and installed immediately. When used with a Garmin Nuvi 1450 5 inch GPS navigator, it did not stick to the installed plastic disc on the dashboard. Well, put it on the windshield, took 10 minutes. I tried reinstalling on the windshield, it didn't work. It looks like the material of the suction cup is too thick and heavy to hold the suction cup.
