Bought for my R1 Pro DVR to replace the useless suction cup that came with it. However, it does not fit the R1 Pro dashcam right out of the box. So I trimmed about 1-2mm off the end with my dremel and now it slides perfectly. The conversion took less than a minute and I can't fault the mount for not being universally compatible, hence full marks from me. Completely satisfied with the result.

Off-road window tilt Insufficient adjustment. This mount is not suitable for vehicles with "steep" windscreens. When in use, the camera faces down on the hood. You can carve or heat and bend the plastic to make it work. This was the only mount I found that was glued in place of a suction cup, which is a shame. I'm trying to use this with a Yi Technologies DVR (it fits) and my full size 2003 Mitsubishi Montero.

As I mentioned in the title, this mount is perfect for YI 2.7" DVR. I personally use the smaller one and it's easier to just remove the DVR than the latch on the larger mount. The adhesive is 3m long so it doesn't go anywhere after you stick it on your windshield. All in all I would definitely buy it again if I had to replace my windshield. Gotta love it when you can't remove the YI dashcam mount from your old windshield.

This mount is ideal for replacing a suction cup window mount that has been broken or damaged in the sun. I used this mount to mount the dashcam on the actual dash rather than the window so I can attach the windshield to the window when my car is parked without having to remove the dashcam from the window every time and without worrying about it need about sun damage. The mount works great and stays on the dash much more firmly than I expected.

I bought this when the DVR's rear vacuum mount fell off this winter. I considered several other vacuum mounts, but settled on this fixed mount from 3M to avoid vacuum stress. And after a few months I am very happy with this purchase. The Midwest did not have an extreme winter this year, -50F. It lasts like the first day. I recommend buying with suction cups if you don't need to move often, especially if you live in extremely cold or hot areas.

The shorter of the two tabs that come with the mount fits my TaoTronics DVR (bought from Revain a few years ago). The previous suction cup mount fell off the window every few months. The double sided sticker that came with this mount seems to stick firmly, but I was unable to apply it to the windshield. The pivot is so poorly designed that it won't work for windshields unless they have a steep pitch. Should fit many vehicles but not my Jeep Wrangler. The jeep's windshield is too vertical…
