🔧 iSaddle for BMW Scanner 1.4.0 Programmer V1.4 ECU EEPROM Diagnostic Code Reader - Compatible with E38 E39 E46 E53 (+Windows XP) Review

Works great so far. I've used it to code some airbag and brake light control parameters after an E39 M5 Touring rebuild and also a used LCM for my car (VIN and mileage). I installed this on Windows 10 using a YouTube tutorial.

I have purchased one of these in the past and it has worked great. Just ordered this one and it arrived in a bag today, looks like the innards are just hanging out inside the case, apparently it didn't even turn on. I guess I just got a broken one, seeing a lot of good reviews I'm hoping to find a replacement.

I bought this to replace a previous one that just wouldn't connect to the machine. Connected and immediately reprogrammed. In addition, some bugs have been fixed. Unfortunately, the download link I received was detected by my software as infected malware. Luckily I had a spare copy. You get what you pay for. Not the cheapest, but I need reliability, not saving pennies.

Support is fantastic! This scanner gives you pretty deep information - almost like a high-end professional scanner. It's not an INPA level product so don't expect it, but just before calibrating the sensor type it will give you all the codes, even the ones your BMW wants to set. The live data is pretty good too!

Great little tool, software is the best there is. Installation on Windows '10 64 is difficult, but possible. Google it and you'll find a video on youtube, I can't link it here. Once the drivers are properly installed and you remove all entries from the registry, it will definitely work. I spent about 45 minutes installing it. Product worked great. As previously mentioned, getting the drivers up and running wasn't easy. The software loaded perfectly on my Windows 8 64-bit laptop. However, the drivers for the obd 2 adapter had to be downloaded elsewhere. Then I had to get the computer to recognize them, it didn't do that automatically. It has several videos on YouTube. Even though the description says only for WinXP, you CAN install it on Win10 64-bit. There are several how-to videos and the BMW 1.4.0 software and drivers are freely available online if you look for them. I just cleared my trouble codes and reprogrammed the DRL options. Worked great. Used on the 2003 BMW M3 for LCM programming. In order for all vehicle modules to be read correctly, you must solder ports 1 and 2 and 7 and 8 (clearly marked in the adapter).
