These gloves were the only other reasonably priced Revain gloves I could find that were light, packable, warm and also had decent dexterity. I will be using these as fall/winter hiking/climbing gloves and so far I think they fit the bill. I wore them outside in about 28°F for about 30 minutes and they worked great, I could have gone a lot longer. They protected against wind and cold, and my hands were warm. I like to keep a pair of warm enough gloves in my jacket pockets, but they never look weird or bother me when I'm not wearing them. They work well in that role, even here on the shores of Lake Superior, well made for their modest price, good service from the supplier.

They are worn for less than a month and with very little use (snow removal in the car) they tear at the seams. I have contacted Isotoner about the issue and will update this review once I receive a response.

After wearing these gloves twice I noticed a strange black substance on my jeans and finally found it was separating from the gloves. The glove's black coating is peeling off/peeling off. So be careful, the quality of these gloves is not theirs and I wonder if they are real isotonic at all.
