Error in its main function: TDS too high, many other problems

1 I have a built in TDS meter, the input shows 500ppm, the output is not constant and can vary from 24 to 88 Di So machine is not working at its core, the advertised feature that removes 90% of TDS, besides you can feel the difference.2. I have a very powerful booster that puts out 80psi which is the optimum pressure for a reverse osmosis filter. There is a pump in the system that delivers 80psi: you would think the system would only take 80psi sq.in. inlet pressure. But no. The system is rated

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Great filter. The water is great. 440ppm on, 14-16ppm off.

I have had this filter installed since mid-April 2017 and I still love it. Water quality: Better than stated. For me, good water has no taste and that is exactly what this filter offers. My incoming city water is around 440ppm and three months later I am still getting 14-16ppm from this system. I run this water through my coffee maker every day and have absolutely no buildup. I haven't checked the flow rate, but it's about what I expected. I usually fill 64 ounces at a time and I think it takes

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Best In Line Reverse Osmosis Unit

I thought this was a great upgrade over my last unit (it was only a 2 stage unit) and I really enjoyed installing it. I got tired of fighting the block on the ground to change filters, so I did something different this time. With this new RCC1UP reverse osmosis unit (6 stage) I've added an alkaline filter option to make it a 7 stage unit so it's now RCC1UPAK. The best part is that I put it 5ft in the closet, not under the sink but next to the fridge. I no longer have a sink in the way or anโ€ฆ

  • Kitchen & Bathroom Appliances

  • Can't remember

Know what you're getting into before you buy.

First of all I have had three reverse osmosis systems in my house for the past 20 years. I really like them and don't feel like adding calcium for flavor. It works very well as a substitute for distilled water. I use it in a CPAP machine. The first two were Costco's Watts Premier. It was very pleasant to live with them. I bought an iSpring to upgrade from a 4 speed to a 7 speed system to: Replace a leaking faucet that I couldn't fix. Get cheaper replacement filters. Get more volume. Produceโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Under sink and countertop filtration
Cons
  • Unsure

I've been using the 6 step system for a few weeks now and wanted to try it before I gave my review. This has been a great system so far and the water quality is fantastic. I had an old 5 stage permeate pump that I was very happy with and sat for almost 2 years while renovating my house. Didn't want to deal with the headache of sterilizing the entire facility and was always afraid of germs remaining in the system, especially after the reverse osmosis step. I also wanted to move my system to aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Water filtration and softening
Cons
  • Something else
