When I first looked at them with normal temperature water, the color started to come out and there was also an unpleasant smell, similar to paint or rotten wood. I can't use what chemicals get by.

This is such a beautiful item. However, these are two pieces of it glued together. I didn't notice this when I bought them, but when I used them and went to clean them I noticed a big blob of glue holding them together.

I've never had a honey dipper, so maybe I don't understand how to care for it properly, but the second time I washed it, there was a crack from the tip of the dipper to the bottom. It can still be used but I'm disappointed in them.

I thought they were good quality but after cleaning I noticed that they look very old. Don't know what to think? Can they be washed with anything other than water and polished with oil? I saved them, but next time I'll look for honey dippers and what kind of wood to buy.

Looks cheap. The stain was unfinished, showing bare wood in several grooves on both sticks. Certainly the quality, fit and finish are nothing like the rich dark coloring shown in the marketing image. I would not buy this item again. 2 stars max.

I take good care of my wooden utensils and I don't soak them. I wash and dry them right away. I am so disappointed that the finish came almost immediately the first time I used it. I bought two and photographed the one I've used next to the one I haven't used yet. You can see the difference. Otherwise I really liked this part. shame

Better than expected! Great price for quality wood. Nice size, larger than you might expect but makes it easy to use and looks great next to a cheese board or other table setting. I use it for fun when we bother to eat cheese, apple and honey snacks and also when we are home alone and need to add some honey to our tea. I'm happy every time I use it!

The product came in a clear plastic bag and it looked great! The nice stain or patina on the wood really gave it an attractive look. I used the product for a few days and then put it in the dishwasher. That's when I noticed that the finish had come off and the wood was a lighter color and seemed a little less durable. So, I would like to say not dishwasher safe maybe hand wash and what kind of cooking oil or something else can I use to polish?
