Detects the change in flux in the power cord when you turn the saw on.

I have to admit I was scared of this for a while fearing it wouldn't do what I wanted, but when I finally got around to it it worked. You clip the inductive sensor around the table saw's (or other device's) shift cable. Then plug the USB device into a 120V AC outlet. Try it without changing the DIP switch settings first as it will most likely work exactly as you intended. You turn on the saw and this device recognizes it and turns on your vacuum cleaner. Helps keep sawdust out of my lungs.

  • Stable results in testing

I recommend this as a relatively inexpensive way to auto rotate.

I used this with a contactor to start my 1 1/2 HP dust collector. I also daisy chain multiple duplex outputs with one controlled output so I can use many tools with just one probe. You are only limited by the amperage of the outlet and the tools connected to it. Since I only ever work with one tool, I don't have a problem with chain overload. The controller operates up to about 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Below that it won't start. I recommend this as a relatively inexpensive way to turn the dust…

Excellent addition to my CNC

that I use on my home CNC machine with dust collector. I was looking for a useful addition to this setup to be able to start dedusting without having to hit anything with the crusher. It attaches easily and was very easy to set up. My only complaint about it is that it uses a USB cable for power. I intend to expand this system later with my new show and I definitely don't want to run a USB cable to each individual remote or connect other cables that will then be needed. Not sure why it can't…

Why not power it from a battery?

Advantages: (1) Works as intended, the dust extraction system turns on and off automatically when you turn on the connected tool. Turning on turns the dust collector on, and last turn off turns it off. However, I have not yet tested this aspect. Cons: (1) It uses a power source such as a cell phone charger, which requires a separate 110-volt outlet with enough space for the power bank. Additional wiring may be required to provide this power supply near your instrument, especially if the…

Sensitive and reliable.

Sounds like nice women, but I mean automatic remote control. I connected it to the power cord of the CNC router. When the controller turns it on, it starts the dust collector and turns it off when the job is done. Following the instructions, it was easy to set up and calibrate the instrument. I wasn't sure if it would be sensitive enough to activate very low RPMs (minimum current draw) with no load, but by following the instructions provided it was easy to adjust the sensitivity. I have a…

Save me so much time!

This is my second device. I have one for my table saw and one for my miter saw. It's not particularly difficult. It just saves me the time of having to go to the dust collector every time I want to start or stop the tool. Now all I can think about is the specific tool I want to use and know that the dust will be collected without any extra effort. One thing I didn't plan for was an extra outlet for a USB power adapter to power the sensor. . After weeks of running USB cables across the floor, I…
