They work very well. My contractor never saw them and he liked them too! You may have to explain to guests how to use them as they are not common.

I bought this for a pocket door in the bathroom. It works well and the satin nickel finish matches the rest of the bathroom fixtures. My only complaint is that it looks a bit cheap - clearly a piece of stamped sheet metal lying on top of the door. I would pay more for something that can be installed flush to the surface.

First the product comes in a transparent plastic bag with a small sticker. no instructions, templates or anything else. I don't think there are many ways to install this thing, but I'm still waiting for some instructions. My installation went pretty well until I broke the screw. I pre-drilled all the holes and still one of the screws broke. Otherwise it's a decent alternative to the standard lock on a pocket door.

If you're looking for a bag door lock that allows you to lock it from either side, this product is for you (but buy two). We installed them for the "secret door" between our children's rooms, putting one on each side so they can keep the door on each side locked. This is a great option for your bag doors that you need the ability to 'lock' from both sides.
