That was higher flow without too much bite, but that should be it. I wouldn't advise you to use it this time as it's difficult to open without pulling straight out, but it works for my needs.

Bought this to replace the bite valve on my Osprey water bottle. The part you put in the tube is a bit big for my tube, but I was able to oil it, heat the tube and put it in. The good thing is that there will be no leaks!

The bite valve on my Nathan bladder started to leak after a few years of heavy use. I couldn't find an exact replacement, and while this one is a bit larger than I'd like, it was a lot cheaper to just buy a bite valve. It goes well with my nathan straw. I have only used this bite valve a few times and it has worked well.

Disappointing. Only one of the four bite valves works. The other three do not open when the valve is squeezed or bitten. I could enlarge the holes with a sharp knife, but I don't have to. Also, the yellow switch on the rectangular flow valve is very difficult to move with two hands, let alone a finger like Camelbak's original product. I will be returning this package and will not buy from this seller again.

My bite valve broke with normal use causing water to leak and this is a great product to solve this problem. My hydrator is working again with no leaks. I have only found genuine bite valves on Revain (replacement for Mamba bite valves) which I will buy in the future as they fit in my hydration pack and are cheaper for a 3 pack. So you should consider this product if you only need to replace the rubber seal, not the entire plastic valve.

Ordered this for an old Blackburn Hydrator. The old mouthpiece was leaking so I looked for a replacement. Works well, doesn't flow but tastes like plastic. The consumption is not large, but sufficient. I think it's only good for water as it doesn't fall apart easily. I wouldn't want to separate it from the hose as it's a tight fit. So there is a drying problem. The lock function works well, easy to manipulate. I can't comment on durability as I haven't had it long.

I have used many complex bite valves, particularly Nathan's rotary valves, as well as simpler bite valves and bowls. The complex ones are too bulky to mess around with on the track, especially when running in 20 degrees with gloves on. The simple ones drip, flow, and can freeze in the cold, causing you to bite harder and gnaw through the shell faster. This simple switch is a good compromise. It securely closes the valve, which is easy to check (no need to read "open" and "close" on the plastic…

Great idea, but the silicone bite valve isn't tight enough to ensure a complete seal when not in use. The valve cover protects the valve well from dirt and protects it. While cycling and hiking I could feel the mouthpiece dripping regularly and couldn't stop it in any way. I left the water in my backpack overnight to be ready for my morning walk and in the morning a small puddle formed around the mouthpiece. The product works because you don't lose all the water through a leak, but it's nowhere
