When the J. Whistler boys' heavyweight puffer winter jacket arrived it appeared to be of very good quality. It was heavy and fit my 6 year old son well. The sleeves were long enough to cover the wrists and the material was nice. Two months after receiving the jacket, the zipper started sticking and jamming. I am very satisfied with this item especially for the price. I used to spend four times as much on winter coats for my son and none were as warm and good quality as the one on the North Face. My son is 10 years old, he is of average build, I bought him a size 10-12 and he fits him perfectly, there is room for growth. He finds it exceptionally warm and stylish.
