All previous pillowcase dolls I have made were actually made from pillowcases and turned out beautifully. It's just a piece of cloth. the view distracts from the overall concept. I haven't put it together yet. Seems to be a bit more work.

Working on a doll. It turns out great. But once I finished the dress, I found that the pattern made the dress HUGE compared to the doll, so I had a choice: either leave the dress on the doll as it was very large, or sew up a few seams open it (which I did by hand because I don't have a sewing machine yet) and cut the dress smaller.

This is the cheapest material! I wouldn't make it for my great grandfathers out of this material. I used it as a pattern to make it out of high quality material so thanks for the pattern. I would not recommend this particular product to anyone but the doll and dress pattern can be traced and used. I would recommend someone to look elsewhere for the pattern. Thank you!

I bought three of these for my grandma to make for my girls. She makes pillowcases for all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren every year (about 60 pillowcases). She specifically asked for Jack Dempsey, which she thinks is of the best quality. Very quick delivery and she finished all three in two days (cross stitch part). One thing she said was that the strap was not included so she will buy it to fit.
