Easy to use but messy

Made a wearable Velociraptor head (that's how I ride) with this foam rubber, hard hat and cloth. I used the smaller wire to stabilize the larger wire and while the larger wire was very easy to work with, once stabilized it was very strong.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Long wait

Product name is inaccurate and misleading

Product advertised as 6 gauge wire and 3/16: diameter. 3/16 = 0.1875 inches. 6 gauge wire is 0.162 inch in diameter, the product cannot be 6 gauge and 3/16 gauge at the same time. The product is actually 3/16 inch in diameter, making it between 4 and 5 caliber.

Pros
  • Dream Come True
Cons
  • Expandable

It was easy to bend and the price was great

I use it to make a cage for my teleprompter. Without them, a black velvet cover comes in the frame. It was easy to bend and the price was great. I'm sure I can find a dozen uses for it over the years. My hands get a little dirty, but that's not a problem for me.

Pros
  • Many uses to hand
Cons
  • Not sure

Not good for functionality and support!

Good flexible wire. My complaints first; I didn't measure it but it's definitely not 10', I noticed it straight away and then had to come back. Bought as a support for a crocheted basket, this wire doesn't hold its shape for things like that. He's not durable at all. I will come back once I solve it and buy some strong wire.

Pros
  • For sculpture projects and mixed media
Cons
  • Some little things

Best Rebar Products

The absolute best rebar material. Use 1/16, 1/8, 3/16, and maybe 1/4 inch aluminum anchor wire with something very small (like 20 gauge galvanized wire) from your local store. Wire larger than 1/4 inch requires the use of sharp bending tools and real muscle power - frankly, wire larger than 1/4 inch is only suitable for very large sculpture, measured in feet, not in inches. Plumbing epoxies work wonders at joining one section to another as they cure quickly. Best cleaned with acetone.

Pros
  • Flexible Aluminum Wire Spool
Cons
  • Unbelievable Price
