I bought these Jack Thomas chinos for my son who is a size 18 in Patriot Navy. At first glance, the material makes a solid and well-made impression. However, when my son tried them on, we realized they didn't fit a bit. The waistband was tighter than expected and the legs were too long even for a tall teenager. Wrong size

We ordered a size 16 because we wanted the length (30" waist and 28" inseam). These pants didn't fit! The waist was too narrow and the length was 2-3 inches shorter.

The quality and looks are great but the size is too small.

My athletic 11 year old could barely pull his size 18 pants down to below his knees but stayed there. length, they are also 2 inches shorter. I like the quality so much that I wouldn't give it less than 4 stars. We gave the pants to a friend who could use them.
