I wanted a wall mounted earring holder and this is an excellent design. I like that the earrings can be taken off and put on a stand without removing the backing. It came with mounting hardware but I opted for the photo hanging rods. I only took the star off because one of the chain hooks on mine was bent. It wasn't bad, but I had to bend it back and I couldn't get it perfect. There was also a small chipped paint at the bend. In general I'm happy.

Not sure if this is the manufacturers fault but this item comes with no padding or bubble wrap - it comes in a plastic bag in a taped cardboard box and that's it . So when you receive your package, you have a good chance of receiving a broken item. I had detached one of the "rows" of hangers at the bottom from one end, so I just took them off. (Literally, I just bent it back and it popped out. I wonder if it should have been stronger!) Now I only have one "row" and that's fine with me, but I…

I love this jewelry organizer. I had a jewelry box, but all my earrings were in drawers so I could forget about them. I wanted something that could show me all my earrings at once. That's great. All my earrings have been removed and there is room for others. My hoop earrings were meant to hang from the bottom hooks, which didn't bother me; but if you have a lot of necklaces and hoop earrings, you may not like it. I work in the entertainment industry and have a large jewelry collection. Many times I had to pack outfits and hop on a plane very quickly, and it drove me crazy looking through a bunch of jewelry boxes with everything confusing. I did a lot of research and this jewelry hanger is by far the best value for money. It's great to be able to see everything you have and know it won't get tangled. Also, my bedroom is very dark and I could never tell the difference between rose gold, yellow gold, clear
