great helmet when he holds

with clean protective glasses it is as bright as day. The controls work well, and while it's a bit heavier, it's quite heavy. the only thing is that there is a diagonal stripe running from top left to bottom right that gets noticeably darker than the other corners of the lens. I've never had a helmet that expensive and haven't had time to replace it, so I use lighter patches so I don't get lost. anything and everything, if it continues to work despite everything it's been doing since I've hadโ€ฆ

Jackson Safety Insight HSL-100 Ultra Light Welding Helmet

The helmet I received was not the same as pictured. The illustration shows the wire clamp bracket around the ADF. Mine came with plastic clips on either side of the helmet. They are difficult to get into the ADF and very difficult to reattach. I think I get an old style helmet and the new ones come with wire. My old 25 year old Jackson helmet had wire and was easy to take apart and put back together. On a new helmet, if the clips are not pushed down until they snap into the holes, the ADF willโ€ฆ

Reliable helmet

This auto-darkening helmet looks good. Has four dimming sensors, switching speed 1/10000. The helmet has a solid construction so it is expected to last a long time but it is a little heavy but as you use it your head will adjust to the weight. The filter assembly seems solid and well built and I think this has added weight to the helmet. I have used it and am satisfied with its performance. I bought an Antra helmet about a year ago and it stopped working and I only used it occasionally so I was

Great helmet for the average Joe!

I used this helmet for a 10 week welding course and have no complaints other than it's heavy. If you are a full time welder I would not recommend it as the weight makes it uncomfortable after about 30 minutes of wearing. Now for the temporary helmet I needed, it fit perfectly and I would recommend it for a weekend warrior or someone just starting out in welding/oxycutting!
