I've been using it for a while now and it works like a charm. The fact that only one cable is required for data and power was the main reason for the purchase, along with the price. The only major issue was that there were no screws in the kit to close the plate attached to the hard drive. Since I only use this case at home, I just leave it on my desk so it doesn't open.

product is exactly what i need for my hard drive looks and feels solid and easy to assemble watch out for the plastic ends because they look a little the first time around and they didn't fit right but I took apart the plastic ends and flipped them over and they went in smoothly and fit perfectly, all lined up correctly so far so good.

Arrived, put my SATA 750 drive in there (which I removed from a laptop I upgraded to SSD), two Screws attached to secure together (screws and screwdriver included) and connected to a USB 3 port on my laptop with the included USB cable. I had to go to windows disk management because the drive was part of the raid setup so I assigned it a drive letter and initialized it with a quick format and bam, works like a charm. This 2.5" USB 3.0 SATA hard drive works great, this is my second order of this item, both work great currently. A minor thing although my last order was missing two screws holding it together so JacobsParts some more quality control would be a good idea! For the price anyway. That's a great touch, even if two screws are missing, little piece of tape does the trick!
