Good product, connected immediately and installed perfectly for XP.

My onboard network port broke and I needed a cheap replacement that would do the job. It definitely was. I needed a smaller piece of metal to fit my slot and it worked with no issues. The software disc is a mini disc. This shouldn't be a problem for computers that still accept such NICs. Well. For DSL it works perfectly. I suppose if you're looking for something to play with, this might not be your choice. You just have to see what kind of connection your software/processor needs.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Works like clockwork

judging by the title works. I installed it for the VM and after installing it on the mobo then the drivers. it worked and windows accepted him and he had internet. just had to get the virtual box to recognize it and it worked.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • There are flaws

Best went Internals

I bought this for my printer and it works as it should. I have Windows 8 and it worked without installing it, but I installed the drivers anyway just in case. The device came in an anti-static bag, which pleased me, and comes with an additional Micro PC mount, I think the same as the photo. Will update if this article gives me problems.

  • New

Great replacement for the built in MB

My built in NIC stopped working so I was looking for a cheap gigabit replacement. This card is great, firstly it was very easy to install, it was unobtrusive, plug and play on a win7 box. After installation it works as expected. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a cheap low profile gigabit network card. I've been using it every day for at least 3-6 hours a day for 6 months with no problems.

Pros
  • Wide Range
Cons
  • Zero

I'm so glad it worked!

I installed the software as described in the manual. I installed the board and it works great! If you're having trouble getting Firefox to work after installing the board, simply download and reinstall Firefox. I did that and now I can browse the web using Firefox and Internet Explorer. My favorite browser is Firefox. All parts were in the box. If you follow the directions in the book, you shouldn't have any trouble getting this map to work for you. Install the drivers before installing theโ€ฆ

Crashing in Windows 7 and Windows 8.1

My on-board nickname is out of order. Everything else is fine with the computer. I bought this card because I need a low profile mount. This immediately caused a BSOD on Windows 7. I thought Windows 8 might be different. The installation failed on reboot. Bad card maybe? Who knows. I think the game was worth it for โ‚ฌ10.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Doesn't work with Windows 10

didn't work with Windows 10 even after installing the latest RealTek drivers. The device did not show 1.0 Gbit/s in the status window, but only 100 Mbit/s. Found on Revain: StarTech.com 1 PCI Port 10/100/1000 32-Bit Gigabit Ethernet Network Adapter Card (ST1000BT32) and it works fine with Windows 10.

Pros
  • Useful beyond intended purpose
Cons
  • Some little things

Well that's it folks

This is my friend's network card. Today the technology has advanced so much that it is just a toy. It worked well and was easy to install.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Bought a pair of these for use in a DIY firewall server running LINUX ( unTangle). are Gigabit Ethernet network adapters from the RealTek RTL8169/8110 family and support Plug-n-Play technology for LINUX. into a full-height PCI slot each on the Dell Optiplex and on the SFF (Optiplex 755 Small Form Factor) with no problems. The Windows side is limited to pre-VISTA versions. You are advertised with this limitation, welcome. I experimented with the driver CD that came with it to see if it mightโ€ฆ
