Works as it should. I was hesitant to spend 99 cents but decided to spend some of my incentive money to try this little thing. Very happy with how well it works. If I ever get some extra cash I can upgrade to $2 next time. But honestly, it works well and costs more than a dollar.

Not suitable for all needles. The 2 hooks are made of sheet metal that is too thick, so they are not suitable for needles with normal sewing thread. This works for larger needles like cross stitch or embroidery needles. BUT I just bought a set of #24 cross stitch needles and all 3 hooks on this unit won't go through the loop of the needle! Bought specifically for this. Considering returning it as it doesn't fit any of my needles.

Great product! This is just what I needed to thread embroidery needles without wearing reading glasses! Strong enough not to break or bend as the thread is pulled through the needle. Small enough to fit in the compartment of my standard plastic bobbin case where I keep my embroidery floss. Its design makes it easy to see and not easy to lose. Very happy with it!
