Experience the Art of Cross Stitch with Janlynn's Twinkle Quilt Kit Review

Stamping is terrible, all stitching is missing, it picks up crookedly. Nice pattern but feels kind of cheap. Hope it washes out without shrinking.

I bought a shimmery baby quilt set from janlynn.com. this is sku 29568 ink drawing is bad. Disappeared in some areas and was off-center in many others, making the lines crooked. Very difficult to follow.

Clear instructions and ideal for beginners. This was my first cross stitch experience and I am very happy with the result. As other reviews have noted, the die cut pattern is crooked in a few places. I did my best to make sure everything was even in some places, for example in letters. But honestly, elsewhere, when it's over, when it's done, you can't say. The stamped part is also completely washed out after two washes. I didn't want to add a yellow border and the blue one is all blurry.

I was thrilled to find such an adorable baby blanket to make for my neighbors who will soon be having a great grandchild. The package arrived two days later and I was able to start the project straight away. I was very pleased with the fact that all threads had DMC numbers, the printed crosses were in sufficiently dark ink not to tire the eyes, and the chart was easy to follow. In fact I was so pleased I ordered another one and can't wait to sew the same project again.

The blanket itself was light, and I recommend knitting baby blankets for beginners. The instructions were mostly clear, but I had to make my own color chart because there weren't any. Not difficult, it just had to be provided. They also said there is a washable (tearable) fabric for the name in the kit, but that's not the case. It didn't matter, I had tear-off fabric and I'm experienced enough to create my own font so I was fine, but a beginner wouldn't know.
