Janlynn Stitch Count Counted 3 Inch Review

This description says "Fabric 11 Count" and as a cross stitch beginner I thought it would be perfect for teaching cross stitch to a group of girls. There is a piece of cloth. I can only assume that 11 thread count is the thread count of the fabric or something like that. I'm disappointed.

Not enough yarn 720 Orange and Ecru to assemble the fox. This has happened to both my partner and I who both bought this kit. We were both wary of using thread, but due to the lack of thread, there is still a significant portion of the fox missing. This one also has some pretty tricky partial stitches, so I don't know if I can wholeheartedly recommend it for a child.

I wanted to get back to cross stitching and the guide was fantastic for reminding me how to start again. Highly recommended for instructions. But they didn't give me threads for two colors. If this is for children, even more thread is needed. That's why I only gave it three stars because I can't finish it now unless I buy more yarn.

The pattern was very cute and easy to do but the orange thread was missing to complete the project. , I found that not one, but all three colors were not enough to complete the project. Luckily I have leftover thread from another kit (another company) with colors that match close enough to complete the project.
