it's everything i hoped it was

I got this for coins. It was time to revisit the family coin collection and I was in the middle of a mercury cent and frustrated because my eyes weren't what they used to be and I had a lame magnifying glass with no light. I love this new one! I've already found 4 double brands that I missed before! If you want one for coins then this is the bomb!

Great loupes at this price

Great loupes at this price - the only thing I can think of to improve them is that it would be better for the environment if they came with built in rechargeable batteries. .This is a great gift for children, especially little scientists. I've got them examining gems, minerals, and mushroom samples, but the uses are endless. Must not be missing in any glove compartment!

It's great alone, but with a smartphone it's amazing

Look how big the caterpillar's egg is. Literally the size of a dot in a sentence, but I was able to magnify it about 30x with my phone. I was even able to see two dots that I'm pretty sure are eyeballs. The smaller magnifying glass is actually my favorite of the set and I just hold this lens directly in front of (touch) my phone's camera lens and it will automatically magnify and focus. Tip: Disable autofocus so you have a fixed focus point and manually move your phone into focus. Otherwise, it

This product has exceeded my expectations.

For many years I have worked with jewelry, lapidary and other items that require the ability to see the item up close in order to appreciate and appreciate it. I was happy when I received my JARLINK 2 pack jewelry loupe set, but when I tried both on many things my old loupes didn't work on I was hooked. Both loupes have their advantages as the retractable magnifying loupe can conveniently hold both light and black light to view some of the minerals I examine. For me it is a "universal tool"…
