The frame is fine, I got the impression that the American flag was engraved on the frame. As soon as I received it I checked it out and of course it's good to be true. The flag is a sticker that crumples when screwed onto the license plate holder. Yes, the frame is thick too, but the center section of the frame is clear plastic, not a solid piece of aluminum.

I really wanted to like this product. It was packaged well and appears to be of decent construction. However, on my Toyota Tundra, having the bumper directly under the plate means the holes don't line up because it's 6 1/2" tall instead of the standard 6 3/8". I could have used it on the front but it's a real disappointment that could have been avoided entirely. If you have something on the underside of your license plate, think twice before purchasing this product.

The frame looks great except it truncates (covers) the top half of the condition (at the top of the panel) which is illegal - at least in Texas. What a VERY BAD DESIGN! In addition, all plates are designed almost the same and could be taken into account without any problems. What negligence and irresponsibility! If I ever get pulled over and fined, should this company pay for it? Or is selling a product that is illegal to use considered misleading or false advertising?

I bought these license plates for my car and I really like how they look in the photos. However, they did not meet my expectations. Here's my take: The color contrast is very poor, so it's difficult to see the flag on a vehicle day or night. The frames appear to be "regular" plastic. Not sure how the panels or finish will hold up over time. - There are no protrusions to allow the panel to rest on the floor. Since it's about 1/8 inch taller than most frames it's a bit big for the Tundra. So the bottom of the frame sticks out a bit instead of being flush with the license plate. It also doesn't frame the license plate, it's just a flat piece that sits on top of the license plate instead of wrapping around it like most frames. it's mostly plastic rather than aluminum and looks very cheap. The frame is very sketchy and thick, and the graphics feel like durable vinyl. It covers a little more of the license plate than expected, but the license plate is still visible so that's not a problem. I ordered a black on black frame. To stay updated! I bought all black with teal line. the light reflects off the flag (which is cool because I wanted it to look more balanced). Also, no extra screws are included. During installation, it picked up fingerprints very easily, and when I tried to wipe the star sticker (sticker) it rubbed off, and then all the star stickers picked up lint from the material I wiped. Once applied it looks beautiful just don't know how long these decals will last on the metal sheet material as they peel off so easily…
