Straightforward fuel system upgrade

Installed on my DRZ400S with 3x3 airbox mod and FMF PowerBomb head, PowerCore exhaust and G2 quick twist throttle. this is a brand new bike. can't recommend enough upgrades. I advise you to buy JIS bits or invest in a puller kit for your drill. I had to remove 3 of the 4 factory screws, I tried using a set of Phillips bits and the factory screws just fell apart on mine. The replacement screws supplied by JD fit perfectly.

WOW, don't wait! for aircraft and jet engine kits

I have delayed adding a jet engine kit to my DRZ400 for well over a year. Mainly because the carburetor scared me. I thought that something can go wrong and it's not worth it anyway. Boy was I wrong. The installation instructions were easy to follow; There are also several videos on YouTube. Needle and jets installed without problems. It was very interesting to see exactly how it works. It turns out it's not magic :) What do you really want to know, did it add power? YES SIR. I don't have…

Repairing my DRZ400S in Jets & Jet Kits

I first upgraded my DRZ with a White Brothers gasket on the exhaust and air filters. Instead of making a 3x3 mod, I used about 4 filter plugs (1 "filter that you put in 1" drilled holes in the airbox). I also omitted carbs. I had to close a few filter plugs to properly tune the bike. I recently added a Powerbomb type header and couldn't get the bike set up properly. Have played with many different sized jets or still had pops and misfires, when I could get rid of it I had hiss or hesitation in…

worth the time and effort.

I have to say I was skeptical at first, after reading many reviews and forums I didn't think it would really make a big difference boy was I wrong. Didn't realize how much I was missing throttle response and power. You won't see results with a stock exhaust, so you'll have to learn a new system or change your current one. very easy to install if you have a wrench. Do yourself a favor and get a little familiar with the process and it will be a walk in the park, also consider ordering an extended

Amazing, pay attention to small details as advertised

2003 DR Z400 was stock and worked horribly. I've always thought of just taking the carb off and cleaning it, spending $80 on a jet kit, or just ordering $10 injectors to make a 3x3 airbox mod. I got the kit, got the carb out (the instructions say how to do it on the bike) and since my wife was out of town and I had 2 days before the gas smell had to leave the house, I did everything on the Kitchen table. not in a 110 degree garage. Carburetor was completely clogged so cleaned well first then…
