I bought this product to use as a 2017 key fob for my predecessor Toyota. However, he couldn't reach my bunch of keys. So I'm not sure what they're talking about when they say it will fit.

I have ordered 2 of these so far and both came with silver nuts and bolts not the same as the picture. To let you know that you have to more or less destroy your old key. Once you start taking your key apart, there's no going back ☠️

Ordered after my key's plastic cracked and fell apart. It's much stronger, thicker, and twists together instead of snapping. I definitely recommend either getting a new transponder or watching a tutorial video on YouTube that explains how to pull yours out of an existing dongle.

It definitely makes your OEM factory key/fog more beautiful. Note that there is a small transmitter that needs to be transferred to a new key fob. - I had to figure it out myself on the YOUTUBE video because it wasn't in the manual

Easy Installation, found a youtube video that helps with the installation. Care must be taken when doing this, as the immobilizer chip is a bit difficult to detach at first; Be patient. It may be necessary to scrape excess adhesive off the chip before installing it on a new key. It wasn't much of a hassle to get the key out once the chip was removed. It securely fixes the new keys.

Not as pretty as expected, but better than the original key fob. I don't like that the buttons are dangling. When you swing the key, you'll hear them. I also want the buttons to be colored, especially the red panic button. But removing the chip from the old key was schematic. Looks great. I won't lie, I was a bit surprised when I discovered how much damage my factory key had to do. The transponder in my factory key was completely encased in plastic and I had to slowly cut it from the plastic with a knife. Even then, trying to fit it in this case was a bit of a hassle. My 2 cents: It would be nice if there was a color option and maybe 2 pairs for the price. It takes 15 to 60 minutes depending on whether or not you have the right tools just to take out the chip and manual key from the old one and insert the new one easily and in 10 minutes. Life saving tools: 1. Butter knife (open old key twice) 2.
