Very impressed.: Hole Saws

Drills mild steel like butter. Punch 1/4 inch diameter holes in steel to reduce part weight. My magnetic drill failed before these carbide saws. I wouldn't attempt to use them with hand drills, but they're pretty good in a press or magnetic base. Haven't tried wood yet but I'm sure they will work fine.

Pros
  • Hole Saws
Cons
  • Something Else

Not recommended for commercial work.

I ordered these about 4 weeks ago and they have worked fine for about 4 days. The 1 3/8 and 7/8 bits have lost most of their carbide cutting edges. They don't seem to be attached very well. Probably good for small jobs but not for commercial work. I don't recommend them. Spend extra money and get a bunch of famous brands.

Pros
  • Power tool parts and accessories
Cons
  • Not sure

Not enough for Hole Saws

They didn't last long. I work in the electrical engineering field. I bought these instead of the Milwaukee brand and they lasted about 50 holes or so. The teeth wear out pretty quickly. I have it on a slow drill and I didn't even run the drill at full speed so they last longer. Maybe 2 or 3 months at most. They work great and make holes in panels and junction boxes fairly quickly and cleanly, but not for as long as I'd like.

Pros
  • Hole Saws and Accessories
Cons
  • Wrinkled
