They're thick but thin, layered, pitch black, and don't have the odd plastic look of some cheap knockoffs. I have small eyes so I trim them (both lengthwise and widthwise). They matched my suit perfectly. I probably wouldn't wear them outside of outfits very often as they are a bit large for my everyday comfort zone. It might be a little hard to see (or maybe it was a strong wind). Get some good glue so the wind doesn't win the fight. I would buy them again!
