What a fun and easy way to create dramatic lighting!

I was very impressed with this little gadget. It's very easy to mount to any Bowens light source and the beam adjustment made it a lot of fun to play with in portrait sessions. I love the drama of this focused light. 100% recommended.

Light output, chunky design, loose bracket

I sent it (and the light) back because despite the low price it's not suitable for serious production work. The lens doesn't focus well - you can't get any sharp edges at your point, even up close. And there are quite a few spills around him. There are some good gels out there and the price is very low for those that will be included, but the replacement procedure is neither easy nor secure.

NOT scalable and Edge Flare

The description says it can scale from 10 to 40 but it doesn't. You cannot zoom in. Viewed with the eye alone, the focus is equivalent to that of a 50mm lens on a Source 4 light source. It's very soft. This makes the shadows very sharp. However, BIG glare is visible at the edges. I had high hopes for it, but it just didn't work out. For $50 it's not bad because you can still use it in certain situations. Just be aware that the spot will be larger than you think and you'll need to clip the light

  • I'm worried

This is a really great product. It's made from fairly high-quality materials and, as many have said, works great. It's like a lens for your light. This really helps you focus the light exactly where you want it. Unlike cheaper Snoot modifiers, it also lets you adjust light concentration. As well as gels that attach with a magnet. You have several options that are useful for any video production. I have to say I didn't realize I needed this until I tried it. lol. It's now permanently attached to

Not bad for what it is

So with this point nozzle you get some gels in addition to the nozzle itself. The gels are attached directly to the front with magnets. The spot will expand so you can resize your spot. Unfortunately there is a small problem here. It stretches too easily. So if your light is tilted down, it will only fully expand under the influence of gravity. A small piece of tape solves this problem, but I don't really need it. The glass is not too thin, so the brightness of the light is not increased…

Good specialization modifier

Works well with Jinbei EF-150. Helps control light scatter. Appreciate the extra gels, although I wish there was a way to stack the gels, but the magnets aren't strong enough to hold more than one gel at a time. Fit and Finish: Looks solid enough but not overly so. The front element slider works well for the moment, but it seems like it could loosen over time with heavy use. It's made of hard plastic and doesn't offer much assurance that it'll take a hit if it ever falls down. The time will…
