I was hoping they would work as board shorts but they didn't. The pockets are weird and the legs make the shorts look like a skirt.

These are good shorts for the beach or the pool. I'm 5'9, 250 and wear a 16. I ordered these and they are perfect. They are the material for the bathing suit. Feel free to choose your normal size.

Fits as expected. Maybe a bit bulky when wet, but not extreme - something to be expected. Good work. carried it to the ocean. I ended up with sand in my pocket but I was sitting in the water looking for shells and I was hit by several stronger waves.

My search for swim shorts of the right length to be sufficiently closed but comfortable to swim in has been a journey. They are really true to size. I wear size 10 pants so I ordered size 10 swim shorts. I love these swim shorts!

Bought these in my true size and they fit perfectly. I was worried they would look baggy, but they roll back just enough to give a looser look to the foot. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a swim trunk and not wanting to go broke.

update: now i have 5. Would buy more if they had more colors to choose from. Love the fit, pockets and coverage. Fits as expected. I have already bought 3 but am waiting for the 3rd to arrive. Good coverage. My only complaint but that's not a big deal, I wish they were in more colors.

I think the idea of wearing shorts is great because I hate it when my hips rub against each other. I ordered them because they weren't tight on spandex. You are pretty free. Almost too loose, but I'd rather have them that way than too tight. I just want them to be both 7" and 5". Dear dear dear bags!

According to the description, take normal size. Since there were no other reviews, I took a chance. I'm glad I did. The shorts fit just right. Good quality. Haven't had a chance to try it in the water yet, but I don't expect any problems with that. So choose your usual size. If you wear size 14 choose size 14, if you wear size 16 choose size 16 and so on.

I'm so glad I bought these swim shorts. They look great and are very comfortable. I'm 55 years old and I don't want to lie on the beach anymore. I like to swim, walk, and bend over without worrying about the bottom of my bathing suit. This is also the first time I've ordered a swimsuit online and I'm really happy that it was a positive experience.
