I really appreciate that these packages can be thrown in the fridge/freezer. The cases are great and easy to use. The straws are great and come with a small cleaning brush. I love them so much I ordered a second one as a thank you for a friend of mine who is also trying to reduce waste.

Removable plastic tab at top makes these bags airtight (unlike others that "seal" with silicone that snaps together like a traditional zippered bag). Cleans easily along the seams and tumble dry open. The design is a bit awkward. My kids can't open it by themselves so it's not an option for school lunches. I deducted a star for that because that's why I bought it.

So far so good with the pouches and I like that they are dishwasher safe. Silicone straws have been used a bit (very flexible) but now I'm a fan of them. Lids are not very good. I love that they fit a variety of sizes and can replace plastic wrap for a lot of things, but I had the smallest latch that put them on top of a small bowl that they used to fit on. This was only the second time I've used it, so it's definitely not an overkill. I try to reduce waste, not to make more.

I bought this set a while ago as I'm trying to reduce the amount of plastic I use. In general I am very satisfied. Bowl lids are great for covering leftovers instead of plastic wrap, but when the edges of the bowl get wet it sometimes slips off. Pockets are an excellent substitute for zippers in most cases. This was my first experience with reusable bags. I think it takes a bit of getting used to but after a few tries with chilled, frozen and packed lunches I can say I'm really enjoying the options. You need to make sure the top of the slider lines up properly with the bag so the slider moves easily, but once sealed it's a good closure. I love these bags! I bought a set for myself and one for my mom for Christmas. I am very happy with this purchase and my mom loves it too. This set was the only set available that was also dishwasher safe and I definitely made the right choice - it feels so good to throw them in the dishwasher. I love lids, I love pockets, I don't like clasps! It's so hard to put on and take off the bag, I'm afraid I will tear the bag because I have to pull so hard, and if you have arthritis or weak hands it might be difficult for you. The straws are nice, big and wide, perfect for smoothies and cocktails.
