It's simple: RV parts and accessories

Installation was easy. fits the camper much better than expected. Filled to insulate. The sealant filled perfectly and adhered to the surface of the cable plate.

Pros
  • High test results for strength and durability
Cons

All I needed was a case.

I just needed the F connector cap. I had to buy the whole block to replace it. The replacement device is supplied without a gasket or sealant. I reused the tar that was on an old cable TV dish.

Pros
  • Not cheap but neat
Cons
  • Volume

Good quality oil seal, pays special attention to waterproof.

I like these. They are attractive and durable. The only thing that bothers me is the lack of a flat flange around the screw holes and around the rim. When using butyl tape I have to "fill" the bottom cavity to get a good sandwich between the gland and the mounting surface. I never rely on seam sealing alone.

  • Impressive
Cons

OEM Direct Replacement

This item was a direct replacement for the wiring panel that was on my caravan. The cap has come loose from the existing plate resulting in slight corrosion on the threads. This made it difficult to screw my cable line in and out. Be sure to order butyl tape to seal the panel and protect it from water damage.

Pros
  • Enjoy
Cons
  • Damaged

Just the basics. fits furniture and hardware

Seems to work well for cable glands on my Forest River Surveyor. I received the item in a padded envelope with no mounting screws. I plan to use some stainless steel pan head screws. As far as other reviewers say, others are installed on the RV with black silicone sealant. I never expected a gasket, but a couple of screws don't cost that much.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Minor issues

RV products are designed to fail

I'm fed up with RV products that are designed to fail. I was forced to use them as they (I bought two) replace existing ports. They do not come with rubber grommets to seal the sides of the camper and the photo shows the gap between the rubber and the base plate that needs to be sealed. The RG6 insert was defective with one side a real RG6 and the other 9.2mm smaller than 8.8mm.

Pros
  • Rugged finish
Cons
  • So-so

Good inexpensive outdoor coax connector

I bought this TV base plate to add a cable/aerial socket to the side of my trailer roof. I connected this to the back of my trailer's ant/cable splitter. I drilled a 1/2" hole on the outside of my trailer and attached the wire to the plug facing in. This product didn't come with screws so I bought some white stainless steel screws at my local hardware store. The jack stays on closed to the road and easily accessible when I arrive at the campsite.

Pros
  • It's got something
Cons
  • Little things

A PERFECT FIT for RV parts and accessories

My caravan's cable entry failed under two seasons of summer sun. The cap covering the coax cable inlet fitting is rotted on the factory installed unit. The design of the units does not allow replacing just the valve without removing the entire unit, let alone finding a replacement valve. The RV dealership charged $15 for a replacement and another $45 to have the fixture installed. Easy to install and anyone with a camper has extra silicone and a screwdriver so a simple swap takes 20 minutes.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Clarity

OEM replacement for my trailer

This is an F Type socket to an F Type socket. This is the third purchase from this seller. The latter came with screws, but this one didn't. They do not come with a gasket. All you have to do is use silicone or a suitable sealant on your trailer. If you need a pad, you can make one using rubber and scissors. Some Type F (cable end) connectors are difficult to tighten because the nut is not as long as the others. DO NOT USE A WRENCH TO TIGHTEN THE CABLE. It is not necessary. If you are concerned
