🏍️ Dirt Pit Bike 70cc-200cc JRL Kick Stand and Parts Review

Not much to write. Excellent quality footboard did exactly what I needed for the Yamaha XS Cafe Racer I am building. The delivery was very quick.

It's not universal but managed to make it work. Had to cut the shock absorber off and weld it back onto the other side of the footpeg to use on my son's 2007 TTR125.

I had to make a lot to make it work. I had to make my own anchor point and the spring stretched in the down position and didn't hold the stand firmly in the up position.

Made of cheap flexible metal. I had to ground the mounting tabs to match the Apollo x15. It was too small a hole to fit on a bike so I had to enlarge it. This will work but requires some modifications.

Very strong side stand, ideal for my 140cc engine! (Wheels 14"/12"). I squeezed an extra washer between the bracket where the footpeg studs are as the neck is a little wide and wobbles a bit, which annoyed me. This way the footboard became very durable and I'm not afraid to lean on it with my weight.

The side stand was finished and went on the bike with no problems, although this spring is stiff. Works well enough, but I can see why someone might want to film the original. The kickstand is very straight up and down which means the bike can roll forward and damage the kickstand. It also hits the pendulum when folded. It doesn't seem to be the product's fault and I'm only writing this so others know what to expect.
