The adapters I got have a slight difference between the two. For an adapter, if you place the larger end of USB A on a table, the USB C connector will be on the edge. These keys are unbearably slow, I tossed one in my key pocket (the life we lead!) and I had a USB 3 drive that I wanted to transfer data to while drinking Coffee.
