🔌 JSVER Compact Travel Power Strip: 3 USB Smart Charging Ports, 2 Power Outlets - White Review

I bought this to run a Raspberry Pi that draws 1.5 to 1.6 amps at 5 volts peak. That's 2.4A per port, max device 3A. So I had some wiggle room. I'm getting low voltage conditions (less than 4.7 volts). Then I tried two different voltage monitors. They sense supply voltages from 4.72V to 4.95V at 0.875A. This product does not provide the voltage stability required by most electronic devices. I strongly recommend looking for another product.

Works great so far. But after a few uses, the power strip's USB ports stopped charging, and only two plugs on the power cord charged some. Being overseas and expecting to charge a number of peripherals via USB cables, this created significant difficulties. When the seller saw my comment, he immediately sent me a replacement. I use it and it works fine.

I installed mine on the underside of the coffee table so the cords don't touch the floor. Works great, I have 6 phones in my house and I'm tired of someone unplugging my phone charger to plug in theirs and never plugging mine back in. This works great, short term users can use real outlets and I use USB jacks for my phone. It has been confirmed to work with the Galaxy s8, Iphone 6 and 7, and Galaxy s5, all of which charge at normal speeds as if connected to a stock charger.

I bought this for a trip knowing I would need USB ports for charging and I wasn't sure what the outlet situation would be. This extension cord means I only need one outlet and everything is fine. The only downside to this product is that it is not a surge protector. For that reason I won't be selling it - I didn't expect it to be one, but some quiet time for my laptop and phone would be nice.

Suitable for camping and garage. I use this for camping with a tent on sites with electricity. I run an extension cord into my tent and the extension cord allows me to turn on a small fan, charge my devices and plug in a small light. Thanks to the USB ports in combination with sockets, it is very easy to pack. The USB charging portion of this power strip didn't charge my iPhone on the first try. I switched to other 2 ports with the same result. I changed the connection cable and everything seems to be working. I then added another phone and an iPad, which appeared to charge at the same time.
