The toys themselves are fantastic. I gave a one star rating due to the contradicting product description. The product description, which I've attached a screenshot to, says there are 12 complete sets of nuts and bolts which I thought I bought. Instead, I received 12 pieces and only 6 sets of nuts and bolts.

I'm a behavior therapist so I work with children all day and diagnose them. I bought 3 sets of these. Two for work and one for home. They are great for developing hand-eye coordination and motor skills. My daughter is 15 months old and doesn't quite understand the concept but we work on putting her together and going through the colors every day. I highly recommend them for therapy and also as educational toys that are fun!

I emailed Skoolzy before asking about their toys and they said their toys were BPA, phthalate and lead free. This reassured me as my 18 month old daughter is still biting her toys. The nuts and bolts feel solid and the material is easy to clean (I use Force of Nature or soapy water and then rinse). Nuts are also great for lacing/threading! I use the twine that came with the pegboard (also from Skoolzy). It also came with a drawstring pouch; perfect for on the go!

We loved working with these bolts and screws. She asks her by name. She learns to assemble and disassemble them. They are the right size for small hands to manoeuvre. Helps learn and develop fine motor skills through color matching, shape matching and counting. And oddly enough, the development of language. In addition, they are safe for little fingers and hands. They're too big to swallow. They are lightweight and durable. And they are so easy to clean. I soak them in water with some dish soap

We enjoyed using these to help with shape and color learning and matching. When we received the item, our two blue parts were not compatible. (Blue Square Bolt + Blue Hex Nut) This is made for angry babies and frustrated moms. Buying toys can be challenging for him, he needs something to keep his attention, something to keep his fingers busy, but nothing visually distracting or overwhelming.
