This is truly pure cashmere. It's marked as such, and I can feel it when I feel it. It's very soft and I think the earthy check pattern is so classy and pretty. It is very warm and long enough to be used in a variety of ways, whether stretched lengthways or tied in one of many ways. They say it's for women, but I think it's for men too.
