I like the style and idea of these lamps, but they have one big flaw. They're cheaply made. The threaded hollow rod they use is glued to the rubber on the inside. I only installed 1 of 4 pairs I received and one didn't last for 1 hour of driving. The staff somehow escaped and freed itself by aiming at the sky. After checking it out, I found that there was nothing holding the assembly together other than glue.

Flexibility is good but you can rip them out very easily without much point as the metal just screws into the rubber hose. You can hand tighten the nut just enough to pull the filament straight out of the rubber base if you're not careful. I bought them for a bike I'm restoring so I'm not sure how they will hold up on the road considering how flimsy they were when fitted. they seem very fickle.

I got them for my KLX650R Dualsport which is Nevada road legal and has a full lighting system. I replaced some aftermarket Bikemaster LED turn signals that better suit a street bike. The Bikemaster turn signals had a plastic lens cover that could crack on impact and the lens was poorly sealed and dust could get in. Inexpensive, works as expected. Pretty bright for the size and low profile. They can be quite fragile. If you need to attach it firmly to the mount I would recommend threading the nut on the inside onto the rubber to tighten the outside nut. Otherwise, if you overtighten the outer nut against the rubber, the glue won't hold and the light will get stuck and you'll have to glue it back together. I installed them at night and they seem quite bright, especially after reading all those positive reviews. However, I did have a few close calls on a sunny day when using them.
