Cheap, they almost got it right

Good idea, cheap version. After unpacking (slightly damaged), the cheap hard plastic case had several linear tears. The magnifying glass was worn out. So I got the bug trap out anyway because my son was looking forward to it. The catcher does not open wide enough to catch mobile bugs. And the hatches are thick so you can't catch bugs on flat/hard surfaces without crushing them. You have to catch them in the grass or use tweezers to catch them. My son liked it despite the spoiled cheap materialโ€ฆ

Lots of fun, great gift idea

Bought for my 8 year old who is fascinated by bugs. and to save my tupperware i decided to give him this set for christmas. This is a great box full of fun gadgets and toys for little explorers. It comes with many useful tools. Even my 12 year old loved to play with his little brother. All toys are of very good quality and designed to withstand boy play. Basically they both liked the binoculars and they really work like real binoculars! They like to use a flashlight at night to look for wormsโ€ฆ

Ideal for hours of outdoor fun

I knew what would be included but wasn't sure about the quality. but i am very impressed. From the moment I gave this to my grandson, he and his sister started going crazy. Each of them wanted to make certain things out of it, run outside and go play and they played outside for the next 4 hours. My grandson grabbed a piece of a bug trap and collected more bugs than I thought we didn't even have outside. . My granddaughter grabbed the net to "try" and catch "beautiful butterflies". Both likedโ€ฆ
