This thing is built like a tank. Very strong and durable. The only thing I had was personal and no problem with the repair. I used it to attach to a tire holder on the back of my car. The included screws are 1/2" shorter. A $2.50 trip to the hardware store fixed it all. It's in store and not going anywhere. I ran an extra ground wire to make sure my truck had a good ground The best mirror mount I've ever had!

Recommended when using something with more wind load than, say, a gamstick or short fiberglass CB whip. Built like a tank, well made and reasonably priced. I attached this mount to an M16 bolt that threaded into my Crosstrek's front tow hook hole and supported a lightweight antenna with a hand screwdriver. The mount doesn't flex like the standard 3/8 bolt mount it replaced and I'm no longer afraid to ride without removing my RF antenna.

This is the best CB antenna mount I have ever used on a tractor trailer. The only issue I have is that when trying to install them on my 2013 International tractor I found the bolts were not long enough as International have switched to thicker transom mounts. I'm not sure about other newer trucks, but you may need to use longer screws to install them properly. It is unlikely to slip when worn as it has grooves on either side of the attachment.
