I was very upset because it was too small for my kitchen helper. It is suitable for a mixer, but the hook itself is too short for the bowl, so the dough is not mixed enough. I will not buy again.

I lost the dough hook that originally came with the KitchenAid Stand Mixer so I ordered a replacement. It fits perfectly and works just as well as the "original". I recommend without hesitation.

Not sure if I'm using this correctly but the hook doesn't reach to the bottom of my mixing bowl (the standard bowl that all other attachments work with) and therefore mix the ingredients wrong. Moving the bowl requires manual intervention :(

I have an old Kitchen Aid blender (1980's model) that needs to be disassembled to change attachments. The only problem is that if you lost the original or on the Kitchen Aid website, there are no instructions on how to do this. I bet it would work as the design hasn't changed much since then. And it happened.

Better than the original, unfortunately. Shame on kichenaid for charging $300-$400 for a blender that includes paint-peeling accessories. in any case it is a good product. I've been using it for a few months and although it's a lot lighter than the original it's holding up pretty well so I use it a couple of times a week.

My original dough hook had a crack in the coating so I needed a replacement. I bought this one and so far it looks pretty good. The metal is much lighter than the original, but I haven't had any trouble bending it yet. It fits on the blender and has a little more clearance to the bottom of the bowl than the original. So far, so good.

My blender came with a hook and eventually I lost it. Then my neighbor gave me delicious bread and she used her blender so I decided to give it a try. The hook does all the work and the bread was delicious! Now I bake several loaves at a time and almost never buy bread. This hook matched my blender which was listed as compatible. Make sure you check compatibility with your model as they all look the same but the bowl width/depth is slightly different.
