Very practical for connecting subwoofers with two cinch inputs, but the receiver only has one subwoofer output. I have two of these, one for the Polk Audio PSW10 subwoofer and one for the Monoprice subwoofer as they both have dual RCA inputs.

I got this because my "wireless" subwoofer just never worked properly, so I decided to plug it in. Need a Y-cable for my old Polk subwoofer. Plugged it in and it worked great! It's amazing how much better the HT system sounds with the subwoofer running, especially on action movies and shows. Great price, quality seems top notch - I've never believed in all those overpriced cables you see in stores and online.

I had to reroute the subwoofer cable to the AV receiver. The existing cable length was not sufficient for me. This 25 foot cable was a good solution. The length was just right. I had no leeway. So I bought 3 for expansion from this vendor. I've been using my system for about 1 week and everything is perfect. This is 1 of 4 cables I have purchased from this seller. Most powered subwoofers with an auto power off feature have trouble "turning on”. My Yamaha subwoofer will not turn on. I could only hear it when I unplugged the power and plugged it back in. It then stopped working a few minutes later. I used an RCA cable from my Onkyo receiver to the subwoofer (which had 2 inputs for L/Mono and R). I wasn't expecting such a high quality cable for the price I paid. The design is in no way inferior to cables that are three times more expensive. The 1 to 2 splice is very well made, not cheap or overdone. The cable itself is a very good weight, not too heavy, but still flexible enough. The connection to the RCA connectors is nice and tight, tight enough for a good connection but not so tight that the connection is painful. As far as sound quality goes, it sounds good to me whatever the price.

The center cap and surrounding link lugs are very fragile as they are made of a plastic coated gold coating. The right channel cable broke, leaving the center connector in the joint, rendering it unusable. UPDATE: The cable above was replaced under warranty so thanks for that. After being very happy with my first KabelDirect stereo RCA kit, I ordered these splitters as an upgrade. I was horrified when the components stopped working immediately after replacing them with KabelDirect Y splitters, I fiddled around for an hour and then asked for the Y splitters to be returned, nothing to do with cables. Excellent cable, especially considering that it is relatively cheap compared to other well-known brands. The cable connectors look like the Pro Series connectors should be and feel very solid, as does the cable jacket - nice and thick. The sound quality is crystal clear.
