Love the magnet feature that keeps it closed yet easily accessible. I have small hands so it's hard to hold but my husband likes it bigger. I just leave it on the counter by the stove and twist the lid to use it. Works both ways. Much more accurate than a salt or pepper shaker and chic on my desk.

We ran into this issue just after the 30 day return period expired and have just discovered that the bottom ring that grips the bottom of the unit has come loose from the top of the unit . As if the rings weren't glued enough and the bottom came apart and the spices spilled out of the unit. I hope the supplier sees this and makes it right for us. We really liked the product until all of this happened.

Check the size before buying. It's way more than I expected but it's my fault lol but I decided to leave anyway. It definitely has a ton of salt in it, which is nice (I have kosher coarse salt on one side and Maldon Flake Salt on the other). Can be a little annoying to open compared to my old one which flipped up easily. I glued a small handle to the top where the magnet is so it's easy to grab and open.
