So the instructions are not helpful at all. I had to contact YouTube. That's good but disappointing. Many steps. Unfortunately the old screen removal tools are not enough, but I found out. Installing the new item was difficult - lots of tiny inserts etc, unfortunately they didn't supply new pieces of tape to close the connections for the new cables. I was skeptical. I'm not a pro, my kids cleared the screen. It's an iPad 4, so don't go to Apple and pay to have it fixed. It sat in the closet for six months before I thought I could smash it against a brick wall or try to fix it for twenty bucks. There is no losing situation. The hardest part was removing the screen. Screen replacement has been completed with repair tools. Unfortunately the exchange didn't work out. The tape got stuck between the fuselage. The glue didn't hold everything together because the tape couldn't go that far. It is best to take the broken screen to a repair shop and have it replaced. That way, if something goes wrong, you can give it back to them and let them fix it until it's right. Half of my screen is unresponsive which is disappointing.
