🏼 Get Adventurous with Kamik Iguana Sandals for Kids Review

I bought these sandals thinking "you get what you pay for". After 2 months, the sandals began to crumble and fall apart. They didn't last longer than if I bought a cheaper pair from a local department store/warehouse. I love the protection it gives my son for his feet. I just wish they would have lasted longer in the summer months.

Bought these for my 8 year old and she loved them. They are comfortable and didn't need to be broken in much. This will be great for summer!

My daughter loves these shoes and so do I! They are so cute and athletic they look great on her legs and she loves that they are purple. I like that they look like sneakers and are very durable to protect their feet when we go hiking or fishing. They fit exactly as advertised and are comfortable to wear and easy to put on.

They lost the star because they were rubbed at a spot on my son's leg in the arch area. They're also great for camping, where open-toed sandals aren't allowed, and they play in the water and mud.

I bought two pairs of these shoes, one for a 7 year old and one for a 4 year old. Shoes are good but difficult to put on. It's not a big problem for a 7 year old, but it's hard for a 4 year old to fit into shoes.

At first I liked it. My son likes the sandals, but it's not summer yet, the sandals have fallen apart. I'm not even sure I can return it as the return policy is 30 days. What a disappointment.

Have bought this brand before and had no complaints. This time it was different, bought and delivered on May 1st, 2018. On June 4, 2018, the sole came off from below. Back late. I'll just never risk it again.

We have had other Kamik shoes, both winter boots and sport sandals, and have never had a problem with them. We are a very active family and our children often wear out their shoes. We use these athletic sandals for everything from hiking, rainy tennis shoes, surfing rock/coral areas or just their fast shoes for biking, scootering, unicycling etc. We live in Hawaii so these shoes are used year round. . It only took a few months for the sole to come off the shoe. This is not the quality I expect from Kamika. Previous purchases of boots and sandals from this brand have been great but this one was terrible.

I bought these sandals for my 10 year old, his soles fell off the rest of the shoes after 3 weeks, I contacted Kamik and sent them pictures and they sent me a replacement who did the same in less than 2 weeks. .I'm not sure if they know about the construction methods used to bond the upper to the sole, but when I took them apart to repair them with high-strength fabric glue, I had to dry them for two days, they are full . with some sort of paper or cardboard with some glue to hold them…

These sandals didn't need to be broken in - they fit comfortably from day one; However, after a month and a half, the socks (not worn every day) were torn (the side part of the sandal came off the sole).

Great for my girls with long and narrow legs AND tight heels! The additional adjustment of the heel strap changed their comfort :) Well-made shoe suitable for all summer activities :)

So far, so good! My active 12 year old has been wearing them for 3 weeks now and says they are comfortable. They look good and are holding up so far. Update: They fell apart completely, lasted about 4 months. Now I have to buy another pair of sandals (obviously from a different manufacturer) and I am not satisfied.

The shoes were ordered too big and when I wanted to exchange them, they were already sold out. Otherwise they are great sandals.

Very dissatisfied, my grandson liked the shoes very much, they were worn for 2 months and the elastic laces broke. I don't see a replacement for it, expensive shoes have to be thrown away because of missing laces.

My son was able to wear them all day straight away and he says they are better for camp than his Converse because they are not flat. they're a bit bigger than I expected but he's ok with that and maybe we can get a few extra months out of them! he is 12

We love Kamik sandals and these are no exception. They are durable and comfortable for our son. We assume that they will last all summer without any problems.

These lasted less than a year (although they still fit my son). The sole has come off the boot. Luckily I got them on sale and didn't pay much for them, but that's not the quality I expect from Kamik. The previous shoes we bought from this brand were actually passed down to its little brother. I wouldn't buy them again unless I could get them cheap and just count on them to last around 6 months.

We decided to try them as we got good quality rubber boots and winter boots from this company. Unfortunately, after only 1 month of daily wear, one sandal had part of the top of the back separating from the sole. My daughter isn't always great with shoes, but we've never had this problem with Keens or even the cheaper Target/Payless sandals. I will at least pay a little more money for shoes made in the US/Canada instead of China, or for higher quality standards.

We have bought other Kamik sandals in the past. This is the first pair of iguana style sandals we have bought for our sons. This style is suitable for narrow feet as there is an adjustable back strap. We ordered the same size they wear in sneakers and dress shoes but each child (3) had to go one size down. The colors are great. Nice to see a change for boys. The kids love them and look forward to wearing them to school. They're durable and comfortable enough to hike 2+ hours and bike 10+ miles.
