If you're used to Costco Kirkland brand parchment paper [which is no longer available by the way], this paper will disappoint you. It's cheap feeling, flimsy and fragile. At least to work. The roll version of this product cannot be torn. Made in China. Imagine my shock.

I used to use different brands of baking paper. All are compostable and odorless. This product smells like chemicals - no it's not an accident - it's just the way it was made. It is also coated with silicone. So a lot of chemistry. Regular compostable parchment is uncoated and already non-stick coated. Ugh, that's a bad news product.

Love these parchment sheets. So easy and convenient to use. nice and hard I also buy more for my daughter. The only drawback for me was the box itself. At least one end must be sealed. When I picked up my box, the whole box of sheets slid out (they are slippery) and lay on the floor. Next time I'll tape off the end. Small solution but good product. Not sure if they come in half sheets but if they do I will buy it.

Am I missing something? My sheets are 16 x 24 which when folded in half becomes 12 x 16. But I was under the impression that these are separate sheets of 12x16. The box says 12x16. I bake a lot. This is my second order for this product. I was hesitant at first due to the size of the container/package but I found a small place to put the box and now it is easily accessible.
